Countless magicians achieved success commercially and with their peers - and accomplished this impressive feat by incorporating the classic effect - Linking Rings. One example that comes to mind it would be Viktor Voitko who took this classic in a completely different direction - and the rest is history. Viktor and others have proven there can be something new with a 2000-year-old trick. This book has it all - everything you would ever want to know about the Linking Rings. Never before has there been a work that encompasses so much about this favorite classic. From its rich illustrious history entertaining routines and the showcasing of famous magicians who have built their world wide reputations using this effect. There is even a chapter on linking things (that will serve as a mental spring board for magicians that want to create their reputation using this effect in novel and unique ways). There really is something for everyone in this book. Here is a sampling of just some of the contributions and/or material provided from top magicians featured in this exciting book. Levent George Blake Jay Marshall Terry Seabrooke Trevor Lewis Robert Harbin Al Baker George Armstrong Al Koran Ken Brooke Paul Daniels John Northern Hilliard Richard Himber Fred Kaps Karrell Fox Viktor Voitko At 242 pages with 400 illustrations this hardbound book is phenomenally priced It is compiled and written by Peter Andreas (Pete Biro)
The Real Secrets of the Chinese Linking Rings by Pete Biro (Book) is a post from: Smiggy UK - homepage of Martin Smith

J.C. Sum in reviewing this book says It is a book I would have read cover to cover one hundred times at the start of my illusion career. He also says If you are considering performing illusions or already do a small-scale illusion show but are thinking of creating a full illusion show this book is a must-have investment. 5 out of 5 stars One of the first to read the book a magician from Thailand says I have heard people say they have picked up a book and could not put it down but never believed it before. Now I do. On Stage With Illusions is very well written filled with good information the book itself is a work of art. Thanks for an excellent contribution to the world of magic. Doug Ries says As a worker/designer/builder of illusions I highly recommend this book for anyone who does stage or stand-up magic. It is a great read with valuable information at a reasonable price. On Stage With Illusions may be the most comprehensive book ever written on the matter of performing with stage illusions. It is filled with sound practical advice and solid information on everything from choosing an illusion creating presentations for illusions and producing a complete illusion show. It deals with subjects such as likability costuming music choreography transitions and show design. It speaks directly about everything from the structure of a grand illusion show to how to put together a program for a theme park or church. The book has been written with the goal of thoroughly explaining what it takes to be successful as an illusionist. It offers pros and cons and detailed thinking about the performance of twenty-six major illusions. On Stage With Illusions contains twenty-three chapters one hundred seventy-two pages of invaluable information for anyone who performs with illusions or is considering doing so. It is an insightful and fantastic reference for both the new and seasoned illusionist in addition to being a wonderfully entertaining read Pages 172 - 8.5 x 11 - Softcover - Full color gloss laminated cover and black amp white photos...
