Lets Make A Duck- A corny game show illusionette in which duck parts are funneled into an empty box and a duck produced thereafter the duck is transformed from a duck to a chick- not a chicken but your lovely assistant in a duck costume yea THAT kind of Chick The Call Of The Tookey Bird is a fun kiddie routine for the eggs from mouth- answering the age old question of what happens when one eats a birds nest with the bird still in it The Chest Of Time a small box and antique clock that allow the performer and audience to distort time BILK- a large white block of wood or oversized Die is shown sitting in the middle of a black cloth. The corners of the cloth are gathered and the die VISIBLY penetrates the bottom of the cloth. At one time Dean marketing this effect as a stand-alone at almost twice the price of this book Ship In A bottle- a model of the flying Dutchman fades visibly into nothingness only to re-appear in a bottle across the stage a few minutes later. The Disembodied Guinea Pig- NOTHING like what the name implies- but a version of the Mutillated Parasol that you can MAKE yourself and which the solid top and umbrella are in view the entire time. The top VISIBLY changes to a chain of rags with a wave of the hand and the umbrella restores itself with no cover while held by a child volunteer.
